The Hoonved Hygea HY 700 is the uncompromising hood-type dishwasher of the Hygea series and is designed for medium to large catering operations with high dishwashing volumes – restaurants, hotels, company canteens, caterers, and schools. It combines the innovative Opti-Wash system with the ergonomic hood design, enabling fast and effortless loading and unloading of dish racks.
The easy-to-open, balanced hood with new sliding rails ensures smooth movement with minimal effort, while the generous usable height of 440 mm easily accommodates tall glasses, GN containers, and trays. The external dimensions are 596 × 740 × 1,465 mm (W × D × H), and with the hood open, the machine requires a height of 1,965 mm.
With a tank volume of 32 liters, a 660 W wash pump, and a 5,000 W boiler heater, the HY 700 achieves a theoretical output of 40 racks per hour. The Opti-Wash washing and rinsing system with double wash arms guarantees complete washing coverage – without dead zones – while simultaneously reducing water, energy, and chemical consumption by up to 25%.
The HY 700 can be configured inline or in a corner setup with work tables and sinks and features a triple filtration system: multiple polypropylene filters on the tank surface + polypropylene collection filter inside the tank + pump suction filter. This combination ensures maximum cleanliness of the wash water even under high throughput and with heavily soiled dishes. The technical compartment is accessible from three sides, and the optimized hydraulic system with central monoblock significantly simplifies maintenance and servicing.
The wash chamber and hood are made of finely satin-finished AISI 304 stainless steel. The constant display of tank and boiler temperatures on the digital display, together with the integrated ThermoStop system, guarantees the correct rinse temperature at all times for hygienically flawless results. The magnetic microswitch automatically stops the washing cycle if the hood is accidentally opened.
Optionally, the HY 700 is available with an integrated heat recovery and condensation system (RCC), which reduces energy consumption by up to 30% while simultaneously lowering temperature and humidity in the washing area – providing significant comfort for staff and effectively reducing operating costs.
Standard features include peristaltic detergent and rinse aid dispensers, a removable rack support grid, a fully enclosed rear panel, and the magnetic microswitch for automatic cycle stop when the hood is opened.
Optionally, the HY 700 is available as a premium version with a factory-installed drain pump and integrated water softener – ideal for installations with elevated drainage systems and in regions with water hardness above 10 °fH.
