The Hoonved Hygea HY 400 is the versatile undercounter dishwasher of the Hygea series and combines compact dimensions with the flexibility to accommodate both glasses, cups, and small dishes. With a 400 × 400 mm rack and a usable height of 280 mm, it reliably covers the typical requirements of bars, cafés, bistros, and small restaurants. The compact external dimensions of only 460 × 514 × 630 mm (W × D × H) allow seamless integration under any counter.
The Opti-Wash washing and rinsing system with double wash arms ensures complete coverage of the wash chamber – without dead zones – while reducing water, energy, and detergent consumption by up to 25% without compromising washing quality. The quick-connect system and removable nozzles also significantly simplify daily cleaning.
The wash chamber made of AISI 304 stainless steel and the double-wall door in satin finish ensure durability, hygiene, and easy cleaning. The drawn tank bottom with drainage slope and the double filtration system (polypropylene collection filter in the tank + pump suction filter) guarantee clean wash water and uncomplicated daily cleaning.
The electronic temperature control with constant display of tank and boiler temperatures, together with the integrated ThermoStop system, guarantees the correct rinse temperature at all times for hygienically flawless results. The magnetic microswitch automatically stops the wash cycle if the door is accidentally opened.
Peristaltic detergent and rinse aid dispensers are included as standard, ensuring precise and constant chemical dosing – preventing overdosing and ensuring consistently perfect washing results. The cladded rear panel allows the machine to be freely installed within the room.
Optionally, the HY 400 is available as a premium version with a factory-installed drain pump and integrated water softener – ideal for installations with elevated drainage systems and in regions with water hardness above 10 °fH.
